The Two Kinds of Action
1. The two kinds of action (1-2 minutes).
The two kinds of actions:
-
Action *in* the business, which is when you are taking care of clients, and just handling the day-to-day of keeping the fire burning.

Action *for* the business, where you are focused on making the business more sustainable, more profitable, and easier to run.
You have to work in the business, but it’s easy to put off work for the business. That’s why you’re here, so you can stay focused on developing your business, and not just keep the plate spinning.
The actions that you are going to be focused on within Action Calls and Monthly Planning will most likely be linked to the learning modules in our Learn section, so that your business develops in tangible, profitable ways.
Monday Compassionate Accountability Calls + Recordings
2. Mondays, 2 p.m. eastern, we come together as a community for a combination Remembrance and Action call lasting about 30 minutes. Weekly Action Sheet is here, too.
Remembrance + Action Calls are to help you first connect with your heart and then move out into action.
In the first 15 minutes there’s a guided Remembrance of the sort that is in the Remembrance Library. Then, we heartfully transition to the Action call, where we make quick announcements about the Community, and then work through the Weekly Action Sheet (PDF), reviewing what happened last week and setting priorities for the coming week.

Depending on the day and the facilitator, we sometimes spend up to 15 minutes or so doing another interactive exercise, maybe sharing successes, some networking, maybe some spot coaching, whatever is needed.

Monthly Planning calls keep you on track, the first Monday of every month. And, they are part of a larger structure in 12 week segments.
It looks like this:
January Planning Call: Check where you are in the Stages of Business Development, and set your priority strategies and projects for the next 12 weeks.
February Planning Call: Review the month, course correct if necessary, and set your priorities for this month.
March Planning Call: Review the month, course correct if necessary, and set your priorities for this month.
April: The cycle begins again, with reassessing your progress, and setting your priorities for the next 12 weeks.
And on through the year.
We lean into using these sheets for planning:
- Planning Sheet if you’re in Stage 1, Creation.
- Planning Sheet if you’re in Stage 2, Concentration.
- Planning Sheet if you’re in Stage 3, Momentum.
- Planning Sheet if you’re in Stage 4, Independence.
