  • Answer the questions below.

  1. With your article, what’s it like to allow yourself to write “donor” paragraphs in the beginning?
  2. Of the different special sauce techniques, are there are any you are already using? What do you notice about them?
  3. Of the different special sauce techniques that you aren’t yet using, which ones are you drawn to most? Which ones seem easiest to embrace?
  4. What is your relationship with professional or academic writing? Does it feel challenging to embrace a warmer, less formal, conversational style of writing?
  5. How was it doing the exercise, adding special sauce to the article you’re working on? What did you notice as you implemented them?
