The Four Stages of Business Development

The Most Important Teaching In This Community

This video training is arguably the most important, and most fundamental, training we have. Learning the stages of development, and assessing where your business is right now, holds the keys to your success.

When you know where you are, then you know what you need. Our complete curriculum takes 12 to 18 months to complete. You want to start where your business needs help most. Even more, you want to ignore what’s not needed now, so it doesn’t distract you or slow you down.

At the end of this training, you’ll have a great sense of your business, how it’s developing, and what it needs. And you’ll know where to dig into our modules, so your business can start to fly!

2. Watch the video

Here’s the video! It was recorded in HD, so if it isn’t loading quickly for you, or keeps stopping, click the “HD” in the lower right. That turns the HD off (you can click it again to turn it back on).

At the point where I guide you through the self-assessments, you’ll want to pause it as often as you need to answer the questions, filling out the worksheet.

Please Note: The video is in the process of being redone. Currently it mentions our programs Foundations1 and Foundations2… ignore that! All of the learning modules from both of those programs are in this Community and you have access to them all at this very moment.

Your assignment:

  • Download the PDF and, if needed, print it out.
  • Watch the video, pausing at each stage to fill out the assessment PDF. Or simply note your answers in a document.
  • Answer the questions below.
  • If you struggle being clear, feel free to bring your answers to the Community Facebook group and share what you got for feedback.
  • Schedule working on your priority learning module (see questions below) into your calendar, using our weekly Compassionate Accountability, or other support, to complete that module before taking on the next one.

Questions

  • What stage is your business in currently, and why?
  • Of the learning modules that will help you complete your earliest stage that is still incomplete, which one is your next priority?
  • How do you feel about where you are?
  • Can you find acceptance for where you are?
  • When will you start work on the learning module that is your next priority?

If you want, you can fill out this assessment as completely as possible, and we’ll give you a personal reply confirming or otherwise giving our insights into where you are, and we’ll recommend what you should be focused on.
